Visit to Save a Child’s Heart (SACH) at Wolfson hospital in Holon.
Save a Child’s Heart is an Israeli-based international humanitarian project, whose mission is to improve the quality of pediatric cardiac care for children from developing countries who suffer from heart disease and to create centers of competence in these countries.
SACH is motivated by the age-old Jewish tradition of Tikkun Olam – repairing the world.
Optional - Continue to Sderot and one of the Kibbutzim located near Gaza strip. Meet with local residents and hear about their daily challenges living in this area.
Depart the hotel for a Guided night tour to Mt. Arcov: Observe rock paintings, and hear about the mystery of their age and the people who painted them. Should it be warm enough, we will try to find the first season scorpions coming out using special ultra violet lamps. Visit entrances to burrows of various rodents and learn about the night life of the desert animals. Visit the ancient terraces aged 2000 years old and find out why time does not delete the remains.
